Okay this article is pretty intense and a little frightening but definitely a necessary contribution to your education. -Stevia a Natural Alternative to Sugar-

Stevia is the only natural alternative to sugar that we recommend at Puro Wellness Center and Spa. The only problem is that , as you will read in the article above not all Stevia products are created equal. Look for the Stevia products with the least ingredients, no added sweetnesrs to the product such as erythritol, xylitol, maltodextrin, sucralose and or sugar of any kind.

One product that is up for debate is Truvia, a product that claims to be natural but adds a few extra ingredients e.g. erythritol and xylitol. Truvia’s parent company is Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola makes Coca-Cola. That comparison alone should suffice. Plus, Coca Cola produces most if not all the other sodas known to man for every fast food joint in the world so you be the judge. PureVia is made from Pepsi. Look out for that one as well.

Is Truvia healthy?

Well you’re going to have to study the research and be the judge. They claim to be natural but Truvia and PureVia are not. (Truvia is made from Coca Cola and PureVia is made from Pepsi)
